In 1904 New York Catholic nuns brought 40 Irish orphans to remote Arizona mining camps in Clifton and Morenci, to be placed with Catholic families which were Mexican.

great deal of books for sale, chronicling the early days of Arizona. They have a
well-stocked library and archives that is open to the public by appointment.
