Mrs. Anna T. Wharton, 82, who came here 20 years ago when her husband was a vicar of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, died yesterday, Sept. 21, 1967, in St. Luke's Hospital. Mrs. Wharton, 2452 E. Amelia, first came to Kingman before moving to Phoenix. Born in New Haven, Conn., she came to Arizona from Missouri. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 100 W. Roosevelt. Cremation will follow. Mercer Mortuary made arrangements. Survivors include her husband, the Rev. George E. Wharton; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Rivers of Phoenix, Mrs. R. G. WHEELER, Henry T.
Henry T. Wheeler, 53, 721 W. Moreland, died Thurs., Aug. 17, 1967, in Good Samaritan Hospital of injuries suffered in a Phoenix auto accident June 25, police reported. He was a member of Construction Workers Local 383 and was employed by the MK Construction Co. here. He moved to Phoenix eight years ago from Drew, MS. He was born in Cooper, Texas. Air Force Spec. 5 Robert S. Wheeler, and his son, Robert P. WHEELER, 1, were killed in a train-automobile accident on Litchfield Road March 1, 1970. Mr. WHEELER was born in Massachusetts and had been stationed at Luke AFB the past 2 1/2 years. His wife, who was injured in the accident, survives. Burial in Boston. 3/8/1970.

Mr. White began his banking career as a bookkeeper when he was 18years old in his native Idabel, OK, after completing studies at Tyler Commercial College in Texas. Mesa - Services for Nellie P. Whiting, 72, a former member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, were at the Mesa City Cemetery. Mrs. Whiting died Jan. 29, 1982, at the Mesa home of a son. She had served as a music director for the church in Grand Junction, CO, and had been in ward singing group in Mesa, Holbrook and Kanab, Utah. She was the widow of Ralph E. Whiting. Mr. Whitley was electrocuted Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1959, in an accident in the yard of Union Rock and Material Co., 2800 S. Central, where he was employed as an operating engineer. A native of Calumet, Oklahoma, Mr. Whitley had resided here the past 18 years. A member of the operating engineers union, he was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Orvetta; a daughter, Maxine; four sons, David, Kenneth, Douglas, and Robert; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. O. He was a native and long-time resident of Florence, was a past president of the Pinal Sheriff's Posse, a charter member of the Florence Lions Club, and Free and Accepted Masons. He served as Florence town marshal for several years and was a former rodeo performer. WHITTEMORE, Arthur F.
Arthur F. Whittemore, 70, of Surprise, Ariz., formerly of Frye St., Marlboro, died Monday at home after a long illness. He leaves his wife of 46 years, Helen (Finan) Whittemore; four sons, Francis, Glen, Alan and Paul Whittemore; two daughters, Linda Graffam and Jean Mueller; and 15 grandchildren. He was born in Marlboro, son of Francis and Florence (Johnson) Whittemore, and lived there most of his life. He moved to Arizona in 1986. He was a 1943 graduate of Marlboro High School. He was a World War II Army Air Force veteran. Mr. Whittemore was an airplane mechanic at Hanscomb Air Force Base in Bedford for 34 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of Woodville Baptist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 638, the Marlboro Disabled American Veterans, the United Brethren Lodge of Masons, the Houghton Royal Arch Chapter, the Trinity Commandery Knight Temple, Aleppo Temple Shrine of Boston and the El Zaribah Temple Shrine of Phoenix.
