1955, where she met and married husband, Lynn Vedette. Dolores was preceded in
death by her husband of 33 years, Lynn, in 1991 and son Mark A. Vedette in 1978.
Survivors include daughter, Donna Strubhar (Val); son, Michael Vedette; and
grandchildren, Mark Vedette, Angela Strubhar, Alyssa Strubhar, and
great-granddaughter, Cheylynne Vedette. A brother, Dean Holderman (Clara) of
Chandler, AZ, also survives. Visitation was at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Dr.

on Tuesday, September 26, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Amelia "Annie" Vess
of Lillian, Alabama; his son, Charles Michael Vess of Grapevine, Texas;
daughter, Angela Sue Vess of Bedford, Texas; his grandson, Grant Michael Vess of
Grapevine, Texas; stepdaughter, Barbara Phaup and her husband Tony of Medford,

grandson, Erik Webb of Grand Prairie, Texas; and a very special daughter to both

States Navy Cadet Program in 1953 and became a naval aviator in May 1955 as
Ensign United States Navy. Captain Vess was a pilot with American Airlines for

West, Arizona, passed away Friday, September 24, 2004, after a brave struggle
with cancer. Frances was born in Madoc, Montana on October 15, 1920. She lived
much of her adult life in Evanston, Illinois, and for the past 20 years has been
a resident of Sun City West, Arizona. She was a dedicated member of Covenant
Presbyterian Church, and was a regular volunteer at the Sun City West Library
and Del Webb Hospital. Frances loved her family, her friends and God. She was
preceded in death by her beloved husband, George; and is survived by her son,
George R. Vickers of Washington, D. C. and her daughter, Carol V. Grant of Sun
City West, Arizona; as well as close companion of recent years, Harold Dunlap of
Sun City West, Arizona. She is also survived by her nieces: Barbara Jerome of
Schaumberg, Illinois and Deborah Gathercoal of Streamwood, Illinois; and
nephews: Richard Dalton of Palatine, Illinois and Warren Dalton of Reno, Nevada.

Guard 26 years until retiring in 1972, died January 5, 1982, in Good Samaritan

native Michigan. He was an elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints and a member of Glendale Masonic Lodge 23. He was a member of the

Vicky Vila was born in California but lived in Arizona
for 37 years. In 1973 she graduated from Valley Union High School, Elfrida, AZ,
where she was the first female FFA member in Cochise County. In 1985 Vicky was
graduated with honors from ASU with a B.S. Degree in Nursing. Vicky was an
accomplished gardener and horse woman and a generous hostess for friends and
family. She passed away January 15, 2007, aged 50. For those who knew and loved
her, Vicky's passing followed a valiant battle with breast cancer. She was known
for her vivacious character, outgoing personality and a sincere concern for the
care and wellness of others. Vicky celebrated life and was frequently the life
of the party. She was a Registered Nurse at Phoenix Baptist Hospital where she
worked for the 21 years. Vicky touched the lives of patients, co-workers,
friends and family with an energy, compassion, humor and zest for life. Her
husband, Lon Jordan, was the love of her life and best friend of 33 years; a
loving daughter and son, Alexandra and Phillip Jordan survive her. She was many
things to many people; a loving sister, beautiful daughter, daughter-in-law, an
aunt to 3 nephews, 7 nieces and one great nephew. She is survived by her sister
Theresa GRUMBLES of Kingman, her father Victor VILA of California and in-laws
Ramon & Lupe JORDAN.

He served in the U. S. Army and was stationed in France. In April 1993 he moved
to Wickenburg. He was married and divorced three times. He was preceded in death
by his parents and two of his ex-wives. He is survived by his son Scott, of
Wisconsin Rapids, his daughter Renae Sigall of Madison, his sister Rosemary of
Wisconsin Rapids, his special friend Diana Woodall of Wickenburg, including
"Frenchie" Burian, Roger Fornoff, Tom Huth and "Boots" Lyle. He was cremated and
his ashes returned to Wisconsin Rapids for memorial services and interment.

VOYTAS, John Roman

June 3, 2006 John Roman Voytas was born in Krakow, Poland and immigrated to the
United States in 1984. He completed graduate studies in Computer Systems
Management and Business at the University of Arizona and was employed by the
Federal Public Defender. His death resulted from an auto accident. Open house
was held at the Federal Public Defender's Office at 850 W Adams, Suite 201,
Phoenix 6/11/2006.
VOZAR, Ann K.
Ann K. Vozar (Nee Domjen) resident of
Scottsdale, AZ for 30 years, formerly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away Aug.
30, 2006, at the age of 92 years. Her husband, Edward J. Vozar, preceded her in
death. She is survived by daughters, Mary Lynn F. Czerwinski of Scottsdale, AZ
and Karen A. Cleary of Milwaukee. She was the cherished "Granny" of Kimberly
Hayes, Susan (Mark) Bauer, Kevin (Anne) Czerwinski, Sheila (Daniel) Halfmann,
Roberta (Richard) Kohl, Timothy (Carol), Mary Susan and Daniel (Annette) Cleary,
Patricia (John) Conklin and Kathleen Cleary-Purrington. "Gigi" of 19
great-grandchildren and the late Victoria Elizabeth "Tory" Cleary. Further
remembered by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation at
the Assisted Living Suites at San Camillus, 10101 W. Wisconsin Ave., Wauwatosa
in the Guardian Angel Chapel. Inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial Mass at

VRAA, Grace Mary
Grace Mary Vraa nee Gandolfo, was born at Illinois
Masonic Hospital, in Chicago, Illinois on September 6, 1944 to Angelo James
Gandolfo and Bernice Johanna Rustman. As a youth, she lived with her
grandfather, grandmother, her Aunt Mary and her father Angelo in Illinois. While
working at the INS, she met her husband Ivan Vraa. On April 3, 1971, Grace and
Ivan were married and had a son, Michael David who was born on December 8, 1972
in Chicago, Illinois. In 1979, they moved to St. Paul, Minnesota where Ivan
worked with the Immigration Service. In 1993 they moved to Sun City, Arizona. On
October 25th, 1997, her son was married and she was blessed with two grandsons.
She passed away on November 27th, 2006. Grace leaves behind her husband of 35
years, Ivan, her son Michael and her two grandchildren, Jared Chase and Dakota
Sander James. Grace also leaves behind three children and 10 grandchildren that
were an extension of Ivan; Kevin Vraa and his children, Brittany, Danielle,
Matthew and Adam, Keith Vraa and his children, Alex and Jason, and Karyn
Zblewski and her children, Amanda and Andrew. 12/9/2006.

Juanita C. Vradenburg, 79, of Phoenix, died June 25, 1978, in her home. She
lived in Phoenix 62 years and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. Her
granddaughter and three great-grandchildren survive. Greenwood Mausileum, 2300

VRANA, Gloria
Miller
Gloria Vrana of Mesa passed away March 22, 2006. Gloria and her twin
brother Roy were born to Clyde and Lillian Miller. She married Robert in 1953
and moved to Mesa in 1959. They moved to Las Vegas for several years. Gloria
returned to the Valley after Robert's death in 2003. Gloria's husband, parents,
brothers: Ray and Clyde, and sister Nellie preceded her in death. Survivors
include daughter Raelene Hopf (Mark); grandsons: Robert Stechnij (fiancé
Stephanie Likes), Aaron Stechnij (Stephanie), and Brian Hopf.
Great-grandchildren include: Tanner Stechnij and Gavin Stechnij. She is also
survived by sister Darlene; brothers: Roy, Virgil and Norman, and numerous
nieces and nephews. Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald, Mesa, AZ. Private

Jefferie
Charles Vrska, 21, manager of a U-Totem Store at 48th St. and Indian School,
died Sun., Feb. 8, 1976. He had attended Dysart and Agua Fria High Schools.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Sue; daughter, Jennifer Christina; father,
George F. Vrska; mother, Ruth "Ginger" Torrez; a brother and two sisters. 11 Feb

VUCINICH, Zarko
Zarko Vucinich, 86, born October 16, 1919, in Srpske
Moravice, Yugoslavia, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2006, in Phoenix, AZ.
Survived by his wife of 56 years, Aleksandra; niece, Djurdjica Prostran; nephew,
Momcilo Vucinic; grandniece Dusanka Surak; and many friends throughout the US
and Canada. Zarko was a loving husband and dearest family friend to the Kangrga
and Bunjevic families. Zarko was a devout Serbian Orthodox Christian and a
founding member of St. Nikola Serbian Orthodox Church in Phoenix, AZ, in 1965.
He was also a retired board member of the St. Nikola Church in Hamilton,
Ontario, Canada. Visitation and services were held at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N.
7th Street with a Pomen. Funeral Services St. Nikola Serbian Orthodox Church,

VUDRAG, Sam
Sam Vudrag, 85, passed away on
July 4, 2006 in Chandler, AZ. Sam was born on February 2, 1921 in Detroit, MI to
Nikola and Ljubica Vudrag. Sam was a World War II Army Veteran. He moved to the
Valley in 1963. Sam was a member and Past-President of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox
Church for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Ann.
He is survived by his sons Nick (Lexy) and George; daughter Donna; grandchildren
Mark, Sam, Kristi, and Karla. A visitation was held with a Trisagion (Pomen)
service at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd. in Scottsdale. The
funeral (Opelo) service was at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 4436 E.

VUKADINOVICH, Mary
Mary Vukadinovich, 81, wife of the late Peter. She
was a former Phoenix resident for 20 years and died Dec. 28, 1982, in Walnut
Creek, California. She was born in Yugoslavia and moved to California four years
ago from Phoenix. She was a member of E...vo Lodge No. 40 and St. Sava Serbian
Orthodox Church. She is survived byher sons, Eli V. Budd and Milos V. Drake;
five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Pomen service was in Mercer
Mortuary. Services were at Mercer's Chapel in the Garden, 1541 E. Thomas.
Interment Greenwood Memorial Park. Family suggests memorials to the American

VUKSANOVICH, Mrs.
Stane
Claypool -- Services for Mrs. Stane Vuksanovich, 77, a Claypool resident
for 54 years, who died at her home Tuesday, will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow in the
Miami Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Serbian plot of Pinal Cemetery.
Mrs. Vuksanovich, a native of Montenegro, Yugoslavia, was a member of the
Serbian National Federation lodge in Miami and of St. Saba Serbian Orthodox
Church. She is survived by two sons, George of Globe and Mitchell of Miami; two
daughters, Mrs. Vera Pima of Country Club Manor and Mrs. Dorothy Buckridge of
Anchorage, Alaska; a sister in Yugoslavia and six grandchildren. Friends may
call at Miles Mortuary, Miami, from 2 to 9 pm. today. Burial in the Serbian plot

Eve Vurich, 53, died Monday,
June 11, 1974, in her home at 2641 E. Roma after a long illness. She was a real
estate broker in her own business the past three years and also had been an
agent for Ed Post Realty 10 years. She was a past president of the Women's Golf
Association of the Southwest and a member of the Arizona Country Club. Children,
Joseph P., III, John D., Gary P., Mary E. and Marie Vurich and Mrs. Karen Jeanne
Nygaard; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Vahlberg; three brothers and

VYNE, Ray R.

Ray R. Vyne, 70, of Glendale, AZ passed away September 25, 2006. He was a native
of Arizona and grew up in Prescott. He served in the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife Margaret "Marge"; daughters Brennan (Cliff) Looper of
Phoenix and Shawna Dunlap; and granddaughter Paige both of Glendale. He is also
survived by stepdaughter Carol (Ralph) Soares and son Nicholas of Grover Beach,
CA; stepson Michael (Carri-Ann) Bard and their four children of Branson, MO;
brother Gary of Palm Springs, CA; sisters Judy Chandler of Kingman and Carol
(Tom) Pontillilo of Pinon Hills, CA and their families. In lieu of flowers,
donations be made to the Parkinsons Foundation or the American Cancer Society in
