TREZISE, Rose Malfaire
Rose M. Trezise was born on June 18, 1922, of
Belgian immigrant parents. She passed away peacefully on May 13, 2010. She was a
beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also blessed with
loving nieces and numerous other family members. She retired as a School
Psychologist for the Mesa Public School System, and resided for the last
nineteen years at the Grand Court in Mesa with many dear friends whom she
considered her extended family. She was an alumnus of Arizona State University
and an avid supporter and fan. She also had numerous pets that brought joy to
her life, especially her beloved cats. Memorial services will be held at the

away Friday, February 22, 2008, at the age of 86. He was born in Curlew, Iowa,
on June 29, 1921. He moved to Arizona 55 years ago in 1952. He is survived by
his loving wife, Mary Ellen of Phoenix; a son, Gale Trow (Brenda) of Sierra
Vista; a daughter Faith Weese (John) of Phoenix; a step-son Fred Lancing of
Phoenix; and a step-daughter Judy Kay Cox of Indianapolis. He had six
grandchildren: Brian Weese, Darla Gibbens, Jonathan Trow, Eric Lancing, Karen
Norris, and Megan Spencer. He also had 9 great-grandchildren. He attended
Northwestern College in Minneapolis, received a Bachelor's degree from Grand
Canyon University and a Master's degree from Arizona State University. He taught
at Granada Elementary School for over 25 years. Bill was ordained to the gospel
ministry by the Jeffers (Minnesota) Baptist Church in 1944. He pastored churches
in Minnesota, Kansas, Utah, and Arizona. He loved to travel and spent many
summers seeing family, friends, and the country he loved. Bill was a life-time
member of the Maricopa Lapidary Society as well as a member of the Mineralogical
Society of Arizona. For many years he coordinated the mineralogical displays at
the Arizona State Fair. His family members and many friends mourn his death, but
celebrate his extraordinary life and legacy of kindness and love. Visitation was
at Greenwood Chapel 719 N. 27th Ave, in Phoenix, Arizona. The funeral services
were held at Serenity Chapel Thursday February 28, 2008 and interment followed

Lucille Marie Trunnell,
45, of Phoenix, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2004. Lucille, a Phoenix
native, was a devoted mother who volunteered for every activity her daughter
Tiffany was involved in, including school and dance. Lucille loved people, and
had a smile and a positive word for everyone. In addition to working for
Discover Card, she volunteered at Hospice of the Valley, and was chairman of the
Prayer Ministry at Cross in the Desert United Methodist Church. Lucille is
survived by her husband Joe; daughter Tiffany; father Larry Stober and his wife
Celia; brother Allen Stober; niece Brandi; stepchildren and other loving family
members. Lucille was preceded in death by her mother Emma Stober. A memorial
service will be held Sunday, September 12, 2004 at 4 p. m. at Cross in the
Desert United Methodist Church, 12835 N. 32nd St., Phoenix. A reception at the

vice president of Turf Paradise and well-known Valley sports publicist, died
March 13, 1980, in Las Vegas while on a business trip. Mr. Tryon was director of
public relations for Turf Paradise for more than 26 years. He came to Phoenix 33
years ago from his native Cleveland and was general manager of the Pueblo, CO,
greyhound track during the summer months. Survivors include his wife, Lois
Tryon; daughter, Marjorie Ann Tryon; father, Robert Tryon, Cleveland, OH; two
sisters, Mrs. Charles Setzer and Mrs. Joseph Mooney, both of Cincinnati; and a

George Tschuor, 67, who died Thursday, December 31, 1959, in his home, were
conducted at the Buckeye Funeral Home. Masonic graveside services were conducted
in the Lewis B. Hazelton Cemetery. Mr. Tschuor was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio, and
worked in the oil fields in Oklahoma and Texas before serving with the army in
France from 1917 to 1919. In 1927, he came to Yuma and engaged in well drilling.
He moved to Buckeye in 1937 and retired as a well driller in 1957. Survivors
include his wife, Blanche; brothers, Ed, Lima, Ohio, Carl, Tulsa, Okla., Dewey,
Painesville, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Welch, Lima.

Connie J. Tucker
passed away Sept. 25, 2004, after a brave battle with cancer. She was born on
May 6, 1951 to Dara Jean Odette & Andrew Lee Repp Sr. in Watertown, NY. She
graduated from Watertown High School in 1969 and attended Computer College
shortly after. Connie, her husband and children moved to Phoenix in 1982. She
was a supervisor at the Internal Revenue Service, where she was employed for 20
years. Her wonderful personality cultivated many friendships. She was a devoted
wife to Thomas Tucker, mother to Edward Tucker and Grandmother to Dustin,
Brittany, and Holie. She loved life and her warm heart, generosity and cheerful
smile will be greatly missed. Other survivors include brother Andrew Repp
(Darlene), Uncle Charlie Pierce (Ruby) and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2004, 18602 W. Latham St.

Youngtown - C. I. Tucker, 80, of Youngtown, pastor of the First Baptist
Church of Glendale for 30 years, died December 28, 1981, in Oregon City, Oregon,
where he had been visiting his son. Mr. Tucker was born in Huntington, Indiana,
and came to Arizona 40 years ago. After his retirement in 1974, he served as an
interim pastor and guest speaker at Baptist churches throughout Arizona. Tucker
received his doctorate of divinity from Linda Vista Baptist Bible College in San
Diego, California, and also had attended Fort Wayne Bible Institute in Fort
Wayne, Indiana. He was a founder of Southwest Baptist College in Phoenix and
California Baptist Theological Seminary in Los Angeles. He had served as vice
president, executive secretary and board of managers treasurer for the Arizona
Baptist Convention. Survivors include his children, Marie McCABE and Robert; two
brothers; two sisters; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were at the First Baptist Church of Glendale, 7317 N. 61st Ave. Chapel

Sun City - Thomas P. Twohey, 71, who had been a comptroller 26years with the
Army Corps of Engineers, died Oct. 1,1980. He came here in 1969. He had also
worked for the Atomic Energy Commission at Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and was a
member of the Elks and Sun City Country Club. He was born in New York City.
Surviving are his wife, Florence; three grandchildren; a sister and a brother.
Saturday, Oct. 4, 1980.

Julia A. Tyler, 67, who came to Phoenix 35 years ago from New York,
died April 19, 1978, in Scottsdale Christian Nursing Home. Mrs. Tyler retired
from Western Union in 1965. Son, Edward Murray, of New York; two grandchildren;
and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Leonard. St. Francis Xavier Church. Whitney & Murphy

TYLER, Leslie A.
Mesa - Leslie A. Tyler, 71, who had been
bishop of the Pine Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from
1968 to 1973, died Oct. 8, 1980, during a trip to Show Low. Mr. Tyler, 2253 N.
Recker, came to Arizona 33 years ago from California. He was a sales
representative 30 (obituary is cut off here) Interment Mesa City Cemetery. The
Arizona Republic Saturday, Oct. 11, 1980.
TYNDELL, Lee
14 Jul 1894 - 29 Jul
1967. Lee Tyndell, 73, died Sat., July 29, 1967, in a local hospital. Mr.
Tyndell was born in Marshfield, MO, and came to Phoenix 22 years ago from Los
Angeles. He was a veteran of World War I and a retired laborer. Survived by his
wife, Hancy; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Lillie Johnson and Mrs. Winnie Hart, both
of Phoenix and Mrs. Ruthie Simmons of Los Angeles; a stepson, J. C. Reynolds of
Oklahoma; four sisters out of state; and 16 grandchildren. Wed., Aug 2,
1967.
TYREE, William Douglas
William Douglas Tyree, Jr., 67, of Peoria, died
Aug. 17, 1994. He was born in Phoenix and was a retired supervisor for Mountain
Bell and a World War II Navy veteran. Survivors include . . . Silva and Sue
Kittle; mother, Ora; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Green Acres

TYSON, Lawrence
Tempe - Lawrence Tyson, 20, a
meat cutter for Stone and Randall Meat Co., died Jan. 25, 1980, in his home. He
is survived by his parents, James and Eleanor Wood; a sister; three brothers and
three grandparents. Published 1/30/1980.
