Brian
Padberg, 65, born October 27, 1940 in Freeport, Ill. moved to Arizona at the age
of 10. A longtime Resident of Phoenix, Brian attended both North High School,
class of '58, and Arizona State University. Brian moved to Murrieta, CA. in 1982
and was considered one of the founding fathers in the community. His passion was
in the civic arena. For two decades he had served on a number of community
boards and on city commissions, helping shape the city. He was named Citizen Of
The Year by the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce in 1999. Prior to owning a local
Magazine and Video Studio in the Temecula/Murrieta area, Brian was the Director
of Marketing and Communications for McDonalds Corporation. Padberg is survived
by his wife, Joan Padberg; father, Albert A. Padberg of Prescott, AZ.; sisters
Vicki Wendt of Dewey, AZ. and Patty Padberg of Coolige, AZ.; children Kevin

RoseMarie Papa, 87, formerly of Glen Ridge
and Sea Girt, New Jersey, peacefully departed this world on August 28, 2004 in
her home in Scottsdale, Arizona. Born in New York City on October 1, 1916, she
was married to Dr. Domenick Papa for sixty-two years before he died on August 5,
2001. RoseMarie had an early career as a milliner and dress designer and is well
known by all for her sense of style and fashion. RoseMarie often accompanied her
husband on trips to Europe, South America, Asia and Australia long before
overseas travel became commonplace. She was a passionate Mah Jong player for
more than forty years and played twice a week until her passing. RoseMarie loved
dancing and she and her husband were renowned for their tango. Baking and
cooking were also passions for Rose. Her kitchen creations each had that Special
"RoseMarie Touch". Rose Marie loved the casinos in Las Vegas as well as the ones
down the street from her home. She was very lucky and brought that luck to
everyone who went with her. Throughout her life, RoseMarie made a lasting
impression on every person she knew and the activities in which she
participated. One of her favorite relatives said of her, "When RoseMarie walks
down the street, even the cobblestones get up to say hello". Survivors are her

LT. Col. Donald B. Parry passed away on Sept. 6, 2004. He
was born in Tempe, Arizona, January 7, 1924. He was a life long pilot, serving
in Italy in World War II from 1944 to 1946. He joined the Air National Guard,
served in Alaska during the Korean conflict and again during Vietnam, retiring
after 28 years. He was a past commander and a life member of the Tempe American
Legion Post 2. He loved his country, family and Mexico. He is survived by his

Betty Jo Passey was born January
1, 1925, in Vandervoort, Arkansas, to Marion Oscar Cecil and Ella Vesta Brooks,
the youngest of five children. She moved to Arizona as a young girl and was a
long-time Mesa resident. She died at the age of 79 on Sept. 15, 2004 in Mesa:
She is survived by her husband, Melbourne W. Passey, her childhood sweetheart
and eternal partner for 59 years; her children: Ronald (Patricia) Passey, Thomas
(Tracy) Passey, and Ted (Ann) Passey: 13 grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one grandchild. She retired from
Motorola after 25 years of devoted service. She loved being a wife, mother and
grandmother, and a Church Primary teacher. She spent countless hours researching
her family's genealogy. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a. m. on Monday, Sept. 20, at the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 977 E. Broadway in Mesa. Viewing on

John W. Patterson, 52, the proprietor of Wallace Norge Village, died Friday,
July 19, 1974, in Scottsdale Memorial Hospital. He had been a charter and
corporate pilot from 1948 to 1967 and flew for Norton Produce and Cutter
Aviation. He was a World War II veteran and attended the University of Arizona
in 1946. Wife, Jean; daughters, Kimberly and Deborah; and his mother, Mrs.

Allen Patterson, Jr., of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away September 1, 2004, at the
age of 68. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Robert and Florence (Barker)
Patterson on June 17, 1936. He worked as a manufacturing representative in the
defense industry, and moved to Arizona 9 years ago. Robert is survived by his
wife Carolyn Patterson; mother Florence Patterson; sister Jean Bergon,
mother-in-law Pearl Woodward; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Marcia and Phil
Waters, Robert and Mary Woodward, Bonnie Bloom; nieces Marcia (Bill) Henry,
Angela Waters, Kim Lucas, Katie Smith; nephews Wade Waters, Steve Blume, Scott
Woodward; great-nieces Maddie, Jordan; and great-nephews Robbie, Colin, and
Ryan. He was a compassionate and loving husband, and dear friend who touched so
many lives. There will be a Memorial Service on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at 11
a. m., at Scottsdale Family Church, 9400 E. Mountain View Rd., Scottsdale, AZ

automobile accident on U. S. 66, 16 miles east of here Sunday, Jan. 10, 1960,

Mr. Paulsell, born in Holbrook, attended high school in Sanders and Arizona
State University. He had been active in 4-H work a number of years. He is

and Angeles Paulson, was found dead Sunday, Dec. 13, 1970, on the outskirts of
the base. She was born in Landstuhl, Germany, and was brought here six months
ago from Okinawa. She was a fourth grade student at the base elementary school.
Surviving in addition to the parents are three brothers, Richard, Michael and
David, all of Williams AFB; grandparents, Mrs. Julia Paulson of Fargo, N.D., and
