Irene Elizabeth Molzen, age 77, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away
September 23, 2004. She was born on October 24, 1926, in Montrose, Colorado to
Elizabeth and Joseph Frank. Irene was loved for her warmth, caring and laughter
by the many generations of the Frank and Molzen families, who will miss her
greatly. She is survived by her husband, Eldon Molzen, her two brothers Clem
Frank and George Frank, her three sisters Kate Haberkorn, Clara Martin, and
Barbara Coster, her two daughters Sandra Matthews (Mike) and Wanda Phillips
(Robert), and by her son Mark Molzen (Eileen). Her grandchildren Rachel, Justin,

resident of Prescott since 1928, having come here from Omaha. She was born Dec.
22, 1897, in Carrol County, Missouri. With her husband, A. B. Montgomery, she
had operated Montgomery Cleaners and Storage here since 1932. Mrs. Montgomery
was the first woman on the board of directors of the Prescott Chamber of
Commerce. She was a member of the Smoki People, Lady Elks, Prescott Business and
Professional Women's Club, and the Zonta Club. Surviving besides her husband is
a sister, Mrs. T. D. Winn of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Burial will be in Mountain

Duncan - Army Spec. 4 Manuel T. Montoya, Jr., 21, was killed in action in
South Vietnam Feb. 19, 1970. Mr. Montoya was born in Safford and lived here all
his life. He was a 1968 graduate of Duncan High School where he participated in
football, basketball, baseball and track. He joined the Army in August 1968 and
had been in Vietnam since July 1969. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas Montoya, Sr.; six brothers, Arthur, Tony, Robert, Larry, Donnie and Max;

Isidore I. Morell, "Ike", 86, of Glendale, AZ. and beloved father and
grandfather passed away Thursday, September 16, 2004. His caring and concern for
his 3 sons, Larry, Kevin, Ronny and his 4 grandchildren and daughters-in-law was
of foremost importance to him. He was always proud of their accomplishments
regardless of how small they may have been. As a youth he helped support his
family during the Great Depression, was an amateur boxer, and was proud of his
service in the US Army during WWII. He loved music and loved to dance to the Big
Band sounds of the 1940's. He took up running in his late 60's and continued
with it into his 70's while participating in numerous marathons in Phoenix. Dad
was an exceptionally principled man who had a terrific sense of humor and loved
to joke and tell stories to those around him. He persevered with his Kidney
Dialysis treatments for many years. Family extremely grateful to the numerous
health care professionals and organizations who offered their expertise and

MOREZ, Mary
Mary Morez was born in 1946
near Tuba City, Arizona. Stricken with polio and rheumatic fever, she underwent
several childhood operations. Adopted by Lawrence and Mary Keim. She attended
the Indian School in Phoenix and went to the University of Arizona where she
studied art. Among her mentors were Allen Houser and Oscar Howe. Widely
traveled, broadly educated (both formally and informally), Mary Morez is a
complex and articulate woman with strong views. "Everything I have learned over
the years goes into my paintings: philosophy of the Navajo, the environment,
religion. . . everything. " Regarded now in art circles to be the subject of
academic study, she works in many media forums and in many styles. Her work has
been exhibited in a host of nationally recognized shows and received many first
prize awards. She has been the subject of numerous profiles in books, newspapers
and magazines. She has illustrated books, record jackets, posters and health
care publications for the U. S. Indian Health Service. The "Mary Morez Style"
has been a significant influence in the development of other contemporary Indian
painters. Mary is survived by her Daughter Seila Bercier-Leise, son-in-law Chris
Liese, her granddaughters Mary and Sara, and many friends. A service for the

the John H. Page Land Co. for 40 years and a well-known Arizona land lawyer,
died Monday, March 2, 1970, in Beatitudes Nursing Home after a long illness.
Before coming to Phoenix in 1918, he was connected with the US Government Land
Office in Washington. He was a member of the State Bar of Arizona since 1918. He
graduated from Georgetown University Law School and was a life member of both
the AZ Club and the Knights of Columbus. He was a native of Williamsport, PA.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy; a daughter, Nonie, of Phoenix; and a sister
and two brothers out of state. Entombment in Greenwood Mausoleum.

1931. To know Rich Morgensen is to enjoy the riches of genuine friendship, both

kindness, common sense and generosity endeared him to many. As a skilled and
gifted conversationalist, he truly never knew a stranger and to those who loved
him, loved his company. Certainly, not ruled by possessions, he discovered
pleasure in the most simple and mainly nature. Survived by the wonderful mother
of his four children, Maryhelen Miller, and his children, Donna (Tom) Paliga,

Hospice in Pensacola, Florida on September 1, 2005 of cancer at the age of 68.
Mike was born September 29, 1936 to Harvey and Trinidad (Arugo) Morris of
Phoenix, Arizona and was one of twelve children. He was baptized at the
Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in February 1937. Later, he attended Saint
Mary's High School and graduated in 1955. Mike recently attended his 50th class
reunion in April of this year. After graduating from high school, Mike entered
the United States Navy in June of 1955 and served as a Disbursing Petty Officer
until his discharge in June of 1959. Subsequently, he attended Arizona State
University and earned a B.S. in Management in 1967. He transferred to the
University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee where he earned a M. A. Degree
in Sociology in August of 1971 and completed work on his Ph.D. candidacy. He
relocated to Pensacola, Florida in 1971 where he served as an Assistant
Professor of Sociology in the Department of Behavioral Sciences at Pensacola
Junior College until 1982. From 1982 until his retirement in July of 2002, he
served as a Professor of Sociology. He was also an adjunct Professor of
Sociology at the University of West Florida at Pensacola from 1973 to 2005. Mike
was a member of the American Sociological Association, Southern Sociological
Society, and Society for the Study of Social Problems. He worked for the
Escambia Sheriff's Office in Pensacola from 1991 to 2005. He was the Senior
Research Associate, Center for the Sociological Analysis of Community Behavior
from 1978 to 1985 and Crime Analyst from 1991 to 2005. Articles and writings by
Mike include studies of criminology, juvenile delinquency and mass behavior. He
wrote numerous articles concerning the Escambia Sheriff's Office. Mike is
survived by his lifelong friend, Vernon Overall of Washington, D.C., sisters
Betty Bourdette and Mary Harris, and his many nieces and nephews. He will be
especially missed by his niece Judy Watson of Tempe, Arizona, and his dear
friend, Brenda Nix, and her family of Pensacola Florida. Mike's Arizona family
will dearly miss his inspired family reunions as well as his Florida family who
will miss him at their family gatherings and holidays. A Memorial Service was in
Pensacola, Florida on September 24, 2005 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 5200
Saufley Field Road, Pensacola, Florida 32526. Before his death, Mike requested,

Moxley, who celebrated his 81st birthday on Wednesday, Aug. 9, was a native of
