Raymond Grady, 66, was born in Pennsylvania and died Oct. 7, 1982, in a Valley
hospital. He moved to Phoenix in 1962 from Titusville, PA. He had worked for
South Land Corp from 1962 until he retired in January 1982. He was a Marine
Corps veteran of World War II and a member of El Zaribah Shrine Temple and was
former president of the Lions Club in Titusville. Survivors include his wife,

Funeral services for Rodney E. Graves, 63, who died Monday, August 28, 1967, of
a heart attack, will be held tomorrow at the Williams Methodist Church. Mr.
Graves, a businessman, civic leader and cattleman, was one of the founders of
the Bill Williams Mountain Men. He was born in Spruce Head, Maine, and came to
Arizona in 1928 to work for the U. S. Geological Survey. He moved to Williams in
1939 and opened Rod's Steak House in 1946. Later, he started a Hereford ranch
west of Williams. He was founder of the Labor Day Rodeo, a charter member of the
Elks Lodge in Williams, and served on the Coconino County Park Board and Fair
Commission. Mr. Graves is survived by his wife, Helen; a son, Jack, of Phoenix,
and four brothers in California. Burial in Williams Cemetery. Gibbs Williams

O. (Chema) Gray, (91), beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed
away on September 14, 2004. Ana was the widow of Charles H. Gray, Mgst USMC, who
died in 1968. Ana, the oldest of six children, was born in Montecristi,
Dominican Republic, to Achille and Catrina (Tavarez Ramos) Petit. Ana and
Charles Gray met in Haiti and were married there in 1935. They moved to St.
Croix, Virgin Islands, where their son, Charles P. Gray, of Albuquerque, New
Mexico was born. Daughter Audrey E. Gray, also of Albuquerque, was born in
Puerto Rico. After residing in the Caribbean and Panama for many years, the
family moved to Arizona, where Ana resided for over 50 years before moving to
Albuquerque four months ago. Ana is survived by her brother Ralph Petit and her
sisters Thelma Drew and Eva Cramer, who all reside in New York. She is also
survived by her children Charles and Audrey, her daughter-in-law Kathleen Gray,
grandson Michael Gray and his wife Maura, grandson Paul Gray and his wife Lisa
Brady, and granddaughter Alysia Gray Painter and her husband Christopher
Painter. Ana's great-grandchildren are Nicole, Sean, Andrew and Bailey Gray, and
Hunter and Skyler Brady-Gray. Not to forget Elli Maud, a family Schnauzer. In

City - George D. Greger, Sr., 84, a former Philippine Refining Corp. treasurer
and 19-year Sun City resident, died Dec. 21, 1982, at Valley View Community
Hospital. Mr. Gerger, who was born in New York City, conducted his own band,
"The Buddies", during the Roaring Twenties and was an accomplished pianist. He
also was a tenpin bowler who won numerous trophies and awards in league
competition. He led the Sun City Youngtown league teams for three seasons. He
was a cifil defense leader in Hasbrouck Heights, N.J., during World War II and
served the community as an auxiliary policeman. He was summoned from retirement
in 1968 by the International Executive Service Corps (IESC) and assigned to
Cartagena, Colombia, where he successfully analyzed the financial operations of
a soap manufacturer. He was honored by David Rockefeller, IESC chairman, for his
extensive reorganization of the company's cost accounting system. He was a
member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Scandinavian Club. He is
survived by his wife, Else B.; sons, G. Dewey, Jr. and Richard W.; and six
grandchildren. Lundberg's Golden Door Chapel arranged the private services.

Valley hospital. Mrs. Grems was born in South Dakota and moved to Tempe two
years ago from Vancouver. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and the
Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Colis; son, John; daughter,
Linda Lux; five brothers and five grandchildren. Services were in Klamath Falls,

and burial for Fred W. Grending, 74, Mesa visitor from Benton City, Washington,
will be held there next week. Mr. Grending died Thursday in Mesa Southside
District Hospital. A native of Colfax, Illinois, he was a retired grocer. He was
a member of the Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge. Survivors are his wife,

18, 1982, in Brazil, Indiana. She moved to Youngtown 25 years ago from her

Manuel Griego Jr. of Phoenix, AZ. a retired Honeywell
aircraft mechanic passed away September 27, 2004. He was born December 5, 1941
in Socorro, New Mexico. Here was a man who was greatly loved by his family and
friends. Our Papa without fail would always be willing to help out those in
need. He touched so many lives with his smile and laughter. He was preceded in
death by the love of his life, our mother Maria and his father Manuel Sr. He is
survived by his sons David and Luciano Griego, Frank Ray and Marc D. Coronado;
daughters Susan C. Christian, Karen E. Corona; sons-in-law Chad and Luis;
grandchildren Vincent, Jessi Marie, Alyssa, Raquel, Hilda, Leticia, Marc,

mother Eugenia; brothers Willie, Jimmy and Tony Griego; sisters Teresa Peralta

nieces, nephews, family and friends. The sorrow we all share among us is so
great a burden, to first lose our mother and now our father. These were two
people who loved each other dearly. Our Papa loved our Momma as no other man
could. The devotion he had for her was endless. As time went, by our Papa waited
patiently for our Momma to reach out her hand to him to guide him home. That day
has arrived. Papa and Momma are finally one. May Heaven be the glorious place as
they say. For among them, a couple stand hand in hand smiling to one another.
May the love they have for one another shine upon us and help us through our

churches and Cosine Club for engineers' wifes. She attended Annie Wright

Phoenix friends have been advised of the death of Mrs. Louella M. Grip, 45,
former Phoenix resident, Dec. 28, 1959, in Winfield, Kansas, where she was night
supervisor at St. Mary's Hospital. Mrs. Grip was x-ray technician at the Arizona
Crippled Children's Hospital here several years. After receiving her registered
nurse certificate at St. Mary's Hospital in Winfield, she worked in Cedar Vale,
Kansas, and then came to Phoenix. Later she went to the Union Pacific Hospital
on the North Rim of Grand Canyon. She is survived by her husband, Carl Grip, to
whom she was married here April 29, 1950; a daughter, Theresa Ann, Winfield;
three sisters, Mrs. Frank Custer, Coolidge, and Mrs. Jess Johnston and Mrs.
Bertha Hamm, both of Winfield; and a brother, Harold M. Lang, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

GROSS, Dorna
Prescott - Services for Dorna Gross, 32, who
died March 23, 1980 at her home were at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. Mrs. Gross, who was born in Phoenix, was a lifelong resident of Arizona.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce; three sons, Robby, Mike and Alex; a
daughter, Jill; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Parkinson; two brothers and

GROUCUTT, Clara A.
Glendale -- Mrs. Clara A. Groucutt,
61, of 7107 N. 53rd Ave., died August 19, 1967, at home. Mrs. Groucutt was born
in Newcastle, Pennsylvania, and moved to Arizona 17 years ago. She had resided
in Phoenix for five years. She was a graduate of the Newcastle Hospital School
of Nursing and Received a business management degree from the University of
Pittsburgh. Mrs. Groucutt was night nursing supervisor at Good Samaritan
Hospital for two years and served as hospital administrator at Phoenix
osteopathic Hospital. Services were at Mercer Mortuary, 1541 E. Thomas, with
burial at Resthaven Park Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Albert J. and

GROVES, Eileen M.
Eileen M. Groves, 70, of Phoenix, died May 18, 1994. She
was born in Ohio and was an aerospace company employee. Husband, Harold;
daughter, Susan Gaefeke; son, Ted; sisters, Idella Dillon and Edna Bise;
brother, Harry Dillon; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Phoenix

GRUBB, Mack
C.
Youngtown -- Mack C. Grubb, 70, an auto mechanic 18 years in Lima, Ohio, died
Wed., May 10, 1967, in Mtn View Pioneer Hospital here. Mr. Grubb was a veteran
of World War I and a member of Youngtown Community Church. He was born in
Findlay, OH, and moved to Youngtown nine months ago from Lima. Survivors include
his wife, Georgianna, and a sister out of state. Burial in Sunland Cemetery.

Curtis Grubbs, 62, died Oct. 17, 1982, at his
residence. He was born in McAlester, Oklahoma, and moved to Phoenix in 1955. He
was an electrician of I.B.E.W. Local 640. Survived by wife, Nell; daughter,
Gwenda Elliot; son, Kayne Grubbs, all of Phoenix; 3 grandchildren; 4 sisters; 3

Robert P. Grubbs,
74, of Mesa, a retired printer, died Wed., Oct. 23, 1974, in St. Joseph's
Hospital in Phoenix. He was a native of Middletown, Ohio. Wife, Elizabeth; son,

Willi Grueneberg, 73,
of Mesa, died Thursday, March 31, 1977. He came here 12 years ago. Survived by
his wife, Gertrude; daughters, Mrs. Wally Hammond, Mrs. Irmgard Schubert and

Sun City -- Herbert H. Guenhagen {sic}, 68, who had been employed 30
years by Folger Coffee Co. at San Francisco, died Sunday, August 27, 1967, in
St. Joseph's Hospital, Phoenix. Mr. Gruenhagen moved here 30 months ago from San
Francisco. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Glendale. He was born in
Glencoe, Minnesota. Private graveside rites in Sunland Cemetery. Lundberg's
Golden Door Chapel made arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; a son,

Esther Grundy, 78, died Fri., Sep. 8, 1967, in a local nursing home. Mrs.
Grundy was a member of the First Church of Christian Science in Phoenix and
belonged to the Daughters of the Nile in Seattle. She was born in Mitchell,
South Dakota, and came to Phoenix 15 years ago. Husband, Prescott H. GRUNDY; two
sons, Donald E. of Seattle and Clifton of Fullertone, California. Burial in

Lena Frances Grundy,
67, who had been a licensed practical nurse at Good Samaritan and Phoenix
General Hospitals, died Monday, Oct. 25, 1982, in a Valley hospital. Services
for Miss Grundy were in Whitney & Murphy Downtown Chapel. She was born in
England and moved to Phoenix 20 years ago from Lockport, N.Y. Survivors include

GRUNER,
Walter Herman
Graveside services for Walter Herman Gruner, 63, a chef who came
here two years ago from Nebraska, will be today in Arizona Veterans Cemetery,
Cave Creek and Pinnacle Peak Roads. Mr. Gruner died Sept. 25, 1980, in his home,
1568 E. Oak. He is survived by wife, Marguerite, children, Judith, Dennis and
Michael; and four grandchildren. Webber & Sons Mortuary made arrangements.

Frank F. Gruver, 59, former Kingman motel owner, died Saturday, Aug. 26,
1967, in St. Joseph's Hospital. Mr. Gruver recently sold the King's Inn Motor
Hotel in Kingman. He had worked for 30 years with Mountain States Telephone and
Telegraph Co. as a service bureau supervisor. Funeral services and burial in
Denver. Survivors include his wife, Diane; a sister out of state and two
