Anna Prosperina Wytko, 83, of Tempe, AZ, entered into Eternal
Life on September 9, 2004. Born in Morgantown, WV, on February 12, 1921 she
moved from West Virginia to Arizona with her husband, Joseph, in 1984. Anna
graduated from Morgantown High School in Morgantown, WV, in 1939, where she was
a proud member of the National Honor Society and member of the A Cappella Choir.
She was also awarded the honor of Expert Typist. Anna will be forever remembered
as a loving and devoted wife, as a mother who dearly loved her children and
grandchildren, as a friend who genuinely appreciated the kindness demonstrated
to her by her friends, and as an avid Arizona Diamondbacks baseball fan.
Although limited by a stroke in her early 40's, Anna never complained about her
disability. Instead, she fearlessly modeled determination and courage,
conquering obstacles most would deem insurmountable. She is genuinely admired
and respected for her exceptional will and strength. Anna truly found joy in the
simple things in life, and her uniquely beautiful smile, and sparkling blue
eyes, have been forever etched in the memories of all who knew her. Anna's
family and friends will miss her dearly, but take solace in knowing that she
will live forever in the hearts of those who had the honor of loving her. It is
comforting that Anna has graduated to a far better place, and now rests
peacefully and joyfully in God's hands. Anna is survived by her son Joseph and
daughter-in-law Susan, from Tempe, AZ; daughter Teresa Ann Cross and son-in-law
Donald, from Pleasanton, CA; granddaughters Anna Marie Wytko, Emily Brook Cross
