IBEN, Ellen H. Toohey
Requiem high mass will be celebrated tomorrow for Mrs. Ellen H. Iben, 78, daughter of a pioneer Arizona couple. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Rosary will be tonight in Whitney-Murphy Funeral Home, 330 N. Second Ave. Mrs. Iben, widow of August Iben, resided at 1516 W. Mulberry Dr. She died Wednesday (6 Jan 1960) in a Phoenix hospital. Born in Clearwater, N.M., she moved to Arizona with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Redmond Toohey, in 1892. Her father completed one of the first modern irrigation canals in the Salt River Valley and her mother was one of the founders of St. Joseph's Hospital. She is survived by two sons, Henry T., Laguna, Calif., and John F., Phoenix; a daughter, Mrs. James F. Smith, Phoenix; two brothers, Frank R. Toohey and Redmond J. (Ted) Toohey; and a sister, Mrs. Timothy J. Maloney, all of Phoenix; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The Arizona Republic Friday, 8 Jan 1960.

ILTEN, Bruce Herbert
Bruce Herbert Ilten, 59, retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, died Oct. 27, 1982, at William Bullmont Memorial Center in El Paso, Texas. Mr. Ilten, of Glendale, was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and moved to Arizona from Texas six years ago. He was a member of Christ the Redeemer Luthan Church. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; daughters, Kathy J. Durham and Virginia; sons, Christian S. and James B.; mother, Laura; and six grandchildren. IMAN, Lester L.
Lester L. "Budd" Iman, 85, died May 4, 2006. He was the son of Lester L. and Musa Pearl Iman and grew up in Kansas. He served in the Army Air Force as an A-26 pilot in WWII. Budd married his high school sweetheart, Barbara, on the 4th of July, 1943. They eventually settled in Scottsdale in 1958 and raised their three children here. Budd was preceded in death by his son, David, and his sisters, Evelyn, Janey, and Alice. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara, his daughters, Rebecca McClue and Caryn (Jonathan) Tate, his grandchildren, Sean (Jeni), Bret (Kristen), Corrie, Caleb, Connor, Mallory, and his great-grandchildren, Sarah, Philip, Samuel, Meredyth and Seth. He is also survived by his sister, Wilda Tholl. Burial at National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd, Memorial service was at Scottsdale Bible Church Chapel, 7901 E. Shea Blvd. 5/10/2006.

Pat Imholte, 72, of Sun City West, Arizona, died Monday, June 26, 2006. Pat was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. She lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for over 35 years. She and her husband, Tom, were winter visitors to Arizona since January, 1992. Her husband, Tom, preceded her in death in 1997. She is survived by her two sons: Rick Klevorn of Cloquet, Minnesota and TJ Junior and his wife, Laurie, of Long Beach, California; and TJđs son, Michael, of Fosten, Minnesota; her daughter, Tammy Tauscher and her husband, Mark, and their two children: Becca and Zak, of Medfield, Massachusetts; her stepson, Richard and his wife, Jean, and their children: Robin and Jill; her brother, Bill (Mim); her sisters: Rita Burkhardt Kaspitzke and Joanne Johnson (Dick) all of Toledo, Ohio. Sun City - Services for Melvin J. Ingwell, 72, who moved here in 1973 from Wisconsin where he had been president of the Bank of Albany 23 years, were in Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church. Mr. Ingwell died Oct. 15, 1979, in Valley View Hospital. He had been a bank examiner for the State of Wisconsin before joining Albany Bank, was charter president of the Albany Lions Club and a member of Lakes West Gold Association and Suntowner Lions Club. INOSHITA, Hisae
Hisae "Betty" Inoshita, 79 of Glendale, Arizona beloved wife and mother passed away on Sept. 3, 2004. Born in Malibu, Calif. as the fourth of six daughters and two sons to Otokichi & Sayo Kuwahara, she later relocated to Gila River, Ariz. in 1942. In 1949 she married Masaji Inoshita with whom she would share 55 years of a loving marriage. A devoted mother and wife she was an active member of the Buddhist Community. Betty was a free spirited woman who settled into a simple yet equally rewarding life. She is survived by her husband Masaji Inoshita, children Arthur, Marilyn and Paul, grandchildren Allison, Bethany, Michael, Kimberly and Tracey. Visitation Fri.
